Opportunities Inc provides comprehensive child development and family support for income-eligible infants and toddlers, ages 0-36 months, and expectant mothers in Bowie County, Texas. Early Head Start builds on the belief that parents are the first and primary caregivers for their children. This program has qualified and professional staff that provide a stimulating and nurturing environment in order to attain age appropriate skills to help children reach their potential.
Opportunities Inc provides a range of services for babies and toddlers, ages birth to 5, with disabilities or delays in Miller or Little River Counties. This program has qualified and professional staff that provide a stimulating and nurturing environment in order to attain age appropriate skills to help children reach their potential.
Children may be eligible if they:
Have medical problems
Are behind others their age in: Learning Ability, Physical Development, Language Development, Social or Self-Help Skills, or Emotional Development
In-home program for infants and toddlers, ages 0-3, who have developmental delays and disabilities. ECI provides families and caregivers with support so they can provide the best learning opportunities for their children. They receive Occupational, Physical and Speech therapies, case management, and developmental rehabilitation services in their natural environment. Serving Bowie, Camp, Cass, Franklin, Morris, Red River and Titus counties.
Children from birth to age five who are from families with incomes below the poverty guidelines are eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services. Children from homeless families, and familes receiving public assistance such as TANF or SSI are also eligible.
Eligibility is generally based on family income at or below the poverty level according to the Poverty Guidelines published by the federal government. Children in foster care, homeless children, and children from families receiving public assistance (TANF or SSI) are eligible regardless of income.
