At Opportunities Inc., everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of making music. That’s why we created our Sounds of Joy program, which gives adults with developmental disabilities a chance to join a performing group and explore music in a new way.
Our program provides a positive and encouraging environment for our members to gain confidence, build relationships, and express themselves in a creative and meaningful way. Our experienced leaders offer guidance and support to help our members reach their potential and make the most of their experience.
We also have an extensive selection of music, from traditional and contemporary to world music and pop, so everyone can find something that speaks to them.
Through Sounds of Joy, our members can participate in many things, like weekly rehearsals, performances, and social events. We understand the importance of this program for our members and are committed to providing a safe space for them to explore and express themselves through music. With Sounds of Joy, our members can find joy, purpose, and community.

Softball
At Opportunities, Inc., we are committed to giving adults with developmental disabilities fun things to do. Our softball activities are designed to provide an inclusive, safe environment for people of all abilities to learn, grow, and have fun.
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. We offer a variety of activities that help people get in shape, make friends, and work as a team. Our staff has been trained to work with people of all ability levels, ensuring that everyone is included and cared for.
At Opportunities, Inc., everyone should have the same recreational opportunities. We try to make sure that adults with developmental disabilities have a place to go where they can take part in activities that are good for their physical and social health.

Line Dancing
Dance is a powerful tool not only for self-expression, but also for holistic well-being, as dance unites all aspects of an individual, mental, physical and emotional. This element of dance and movement makes it an excellent activity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), to experience an enhanced quality of life.
Dance therapy is a great way to express emotions that are sometimes not easily expressed verbally. Participants are able to express their emotions in a fun and yet therapeutic manner… Even clients with limited mobility are still able to express themselves through their own energy levels and abilities
Not only are dance and movement classes a source of fun and joy, but they are a way to help people with I/DD experience greater connection to one other, express emotions, and enjoy improved health.
